What is NLP about?



NLP, the art of creating your life

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a short therapy.

Since our birth, through our family environment, our education or society, we have been somehow programmed. This has led us to develop a number of beliefs, values and behaviors that have shaped the way we define ourselves, how we see the world and how we interact with it.

If some things really belong to us, others are the result of expectations that have been projected on us. And, very often, it creates an inner duality between the mind and the Heart.

NLP was created by doctors of psychology who modelled various therapists such as Virginia Satir (family therapy), Milton Erickson (Ericksonian Hypnosis) or Fritz Perl (Gestalt Therapy). The goal was to identify which common strategies were used in the success of their practice.

NLP is therefore a mixture of know-how with a precise methodology and techniques but also of soft skills through kindness, non-judgment and respect.

It is based on levels of consciousness common to every human being. It is through questioning that we can identify where is located the mental block.

Environment

Sometimes it's only the context that stop your evolution.

Which behaviors would you like to get rid of? And which one could help you achieve your goals?

Abilities

Are you aware of all your potential and all your ressources?

Beliefs

Some of them prevent us to move forwards while others make us grow.

Values

What are the values that define yourself? Do you know them? Is your life coherent with those ones?

IdentitY

Do you really know who you are? Are you welcoming all the parts of yourself as you are and without judgement?

Meaning

Do you know the meaning of your life? To what would you like to contribute?
